Mr. Von Schoenfels studied finance and international marketing at the University of Dortmund and held senior positions in project management, marketing and sales in the seven years prior joining VARIOM.

Britta Haberpursch PhD, (35) Head of Research and Development
Dr. Haberpursch completed her doctoral studies in Biological Sciences at the University of Wuerzburg. Her thesis investigated the pathogenesis and genetics of viroids, common plant pathogens. A biologist by profession, Dr. Haberpursch has seven years experience in industrial and academic research. At VARIOM, Dr. Haberpursch successfully developed SPOLA technology into a diagnostic-grade product using ISO certified production processes.

Karin Zerulla PhD, (33) Head of Production
Dr. Zerulla joined VARIOM’s R&D department in 2002 after graduating from the Institute for Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at the Free University of Berlin. Not long after her appointment, she was promoted to Head of Production.
