Dr. Knieling is currently an Investment Manager at SHS Venture Capital GmbH, VARIOM’s leading investor. Through Dr. Knieling and SHS provide VARIOM with strategic, operational and financial management expertise. Dr. Knieling is a physicist by profession.

Dr. Dirk Wuppermann, Vice-Chairman of the Advisory Board
Dr. Wuppermann is currently engaged in consulting and the management of biotechnology companies. He has 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and development, marketing, sales and management. Until 2000, he was been member of the board of Knoll AG (BASF-Group, Ludwigshafen, Germany) for Global Marketing and Sales. Apart from other positions, Dr. Wuppermann was previously Managing Director of the Nordmark Arzneimittel GmbH (Uetersen, Germany).

Dr. Helmut Kamlah
Dr. Kamlah worked for Boehringer Mannheim GmbH, and subsequently F. Hoffmann La Roche, for 22 years, ultimately as senior vice-president of Point-of-Care with global business responsibilities.
